WIL VANDIVER // OWNER & HEAD MIXING ENGINEER
Wil is a multi-instrumental musician who believes that every musician has a unique sound, and his goal is to help them unleash that sound on the world. In the course of his more than 15 years of audio engineering he has also filled multiple roles on stage - from instrumentalist & background vocalist to frontman & recording artist; he has been a part of live music environments nearly his whole life. Around age 14 he discovered what a sound board could do and fell in love with music all over again. His time off-stage as a live sound engineer has fed into his knowledge of tracking and mix engineering, and all this together has given him a great sense of assessing vocal tone & range, arranging music & lyrics, and placing instruments in a mix. His high value for effective communication and a very specific ear for detail make him a unique and highly skilled producer, maker and mixer of great music. |

Here are a few things that we believe about making music...
Not all songs should share the same beat. If all of your songs are driven by 4 on the floor, 1/8 note hat, and snare on the 2 & 4, it may be time to innovate. Excellence matters. Not only does the amount of time you've spent honing your craft come across both on stage and in the studio, but also things like attitude, facial expressions, and how comfortable & confident you feel in the clothes you're wearing. Make your sound, not the sound someone wants you to make. You have been made with a unique voice and unique taste. The whole planet can't fit into one box or category, so don't try to make yourself fit. Create a new box if you have to. Making great music shouldn't be overly complicated or intimidating. Music comes from the heart. Your natural expression should be just that: natural. You can always learn a new and better way of doing things and growing your talent, but your best sound will almost always come from a place of personal inspiration. Go with it.
